Communicate, Collaborate and Create
The Australian National Schools Network would like to invite all interested teachers (P-12) to attend our 2 day workshop titled Communicate, Collaborate and Create which allows participants to actively investigate and explore the potential of on-line tools and their capacity to radically change education in the future.Throughout the hands-on workshop participants will explore and create their own on-line tools including (but not limited to) blogs, wikis and podcasts, within an educational context. This workshop will challenge teachers thinking about what could happen to education if these tools become mainstream as an integral tool for learning.

John Bladen Scholarship
ANSN offers teachers an opportunity to make study tours to schools using innovative thinking and new ideas. A scholarship of $1000 is available to help you to meet teachers making schools better for students and teachers.
Giving teachers opportunities to visit, watch and talk with others in diverse and similar locations is an amazingly powerful tool for professional learning because of the directness of the experience.
Bee Bots – Robotics for Young Learners
Winner of the “2006 Education Resources Award” primary ICT category.
1 day hands-on workshop where participants:
- Play and explore Bee Bots
- Make resources for future learning experiences that integrate Bee Bots with their curriculum
- Take back to school collective ideas and strategies for implementing Bee Bots as well as their very own Bee Bot (1 per participant) valued at rrp $88
Protocols
For
the past 10 years the ANSN has been exploring the relationship between
teacher work and student work. This has been done with groups of
teachers from every phase of schooling and every state and territory.
