Art Costa, co-author and originator of the Habits of Mind, teams up with the Australian National Schools Network Hub leaders James Anderson, Tina Doe and Hanan Harrison, to present a powerful learning opportunity.

In this active day of learning, participants can expect to:

• Extend their understanding of Habits of Mind
• Identify many of the common misconceptions and gaps in knowledge that abound in schools about Habits of Mind and address these in positive practical ways
• Work in a small group setting with Brisbane based teachers who have designed units of work which develop Habits of Mind, and improve student learning outcomes
• Explore the impact that Habits of Mind is having on school culture and student learning outcomes around the world
• Identify clear pathways for future learning including extending the Habits of Mind into effective curriculum development and as a basis for building a thoughtful school culture
