Director

Kevin has taught in a range of country high schools as a teacher, head of department, deputy principal and principal. He has been a principal since 1996. Kevin has always had an interest in the conjunction of industrial and professional concerns and has held a position on the State School Teachers' Union of WA executive for 10 years.

From 1991 to 1993 he was the State Coordinator of the National Project on the Quality of Teaching and Learning, a project focused on developments in the organisation of the work of teachers. In 1997 and 1998 he coordinated a review of secondary education in Albany. In his role of Executive Director-Teaching and Learning, which he has held since 2001, Kevin's responsibilities include Indigenous participation and achievement in both education and training, the improved retention and transition of 15-17 year olds and the oversight in the role and functions of eight districts and 13 District Directors.
