This learning opportunity focuses on teacher practice through the lens of learning design and is specific to teacher pedagogy.

During this 2 day workshop educators will design learning opportunities for Australian school children (learners) that promote and develop positive attitudes and perceptions and habits of mind.

This is an action learning workshop where participants work through a learning partnership to focus on teacher practice.

Learning design theory will be put into practice using research based pedagogy.

Tina DoeTina DoeAbout the workshop leader - Tina Doe

Tina Doe is a part time senior lecturer in education and is the Central Queensland University Embedded Professional Learning Coordinator.

Tina’s expertise is in learning design and the development of professional learning projects that work in partnership between the teaching industry and universities.

Her current research work explores professional learning through partnership in the context of teacher practice. The specific focus is on teacher pedagogy.

Costs

Participation in the 2 day workshop for ANSN members is $270 per individual or a cost can be calculated for learning sites who wish to engage in a workshop for their whole staff or a select key team.

Schools will be invited to join the ANSN for $220 for the year, which provides discounts for all conferences, hubs and resources supported by the network.

Cost for joining the Setting the Stage 2 day workshop for non-members is $310. An invoice will be sent out shortly after registration.
